Han class SSN (Type 091) Photos.
Since the Han class nuclear-powered attack submarine is no-longer state-of-the-art, the PLAN is publishing more photos of it in outlets such as the "Naval and Merchant Ship" magazine.
Hydro-dynamically the shape of the Han's aren't so bad, and the pictures clearly reveal that they are constructed with and inner pressure hull and a smooth external fairing.
There doesn't seem to be any evidence of the use of rubber anechoic tiling that is common on the Song, Yuan and Kilo hulls.
The fin (conning tower) is very large however, unlike more modern designs - where there is a tendency to reduce its size.
The really important parts of this sub are not visible in these pictures, the combat information center and the machinery spaces.

The front torpedo tube arrangement reminds me of the Yuan class, for some reason.
