Sino-Romanian army mountain troops to conduct joint training in Kunming

The reporter learned from the Information Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China on November 1 that the army mountain troops of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) and the Romanian Armed Forces would stage a joint training coded the “Friendship Action 2010” in Kunming, capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province from November 5 to 13.
The joint training will mainly center on mountain infantry tactics and skills. The aim is to strengthen mutual understanding and trust between the two militaries, deepen the mutual pragmatic exchanges and cooperation and enhance the capability of the mountain troops of the two countries in implementing joint actions.
It’s introduced that the Chinese and Romanian armies ever conducted the first joint training of mountain troops in Romania in September 2009.
