Here is one solution to address PLAN's tanker shortage challenge -- STUFT (ship taken up from trade) it!
PLAN just conducted civilian tanker UNREP exercise, involved ships are FFG523 Putian and CSL Hua Chuan. They did both parallel and tandem replenishments.
