Following WWII, the US transferred 12 LSM-1 (Landing Ship Medium (Transport) (link) to the KMT/Nationalist, and several of them were captured by the PLA during the Chinese civil war of 1949.
Well, well, well, one of them is still surviving is still around in Chengdu, here are some pictures of her.
