J-10B pre-production
Thanks Deino for this detailed comparison between the prototype model and pre-production model of the J-10B and you can tell, there are minor differences between those two. The locations of two small antennas under the nose IRST (Infra-red search and track) is one of the most visible sign.
As a side note, the pro-production J-10B photo Deino used was mirrored and here is the original photo.
Isn't me or J-10 B is ugly.

It looks pretty futuristic. From the front it looks like a cross between a f-16 and a Su-27.
I believe the next upgrade will be some stealth shaping to reduce radar cross section just like the Americans are doing to the new stealthy F-15.
I am glad you like it, but I still think it is ugly, you are right, I think the next major upgrade will include an extra engine. Of course I have nothing to back to up, but it is just a guess on my part.
Looks like the plane is shaping up to join the ranks of the world's Eurocanards.
it's the IRST, it's disproportionally large compared with the plane. So it looks like a mole grow on its face (off center too)
LOL, as the mole in Austin Power's Goldmember?
I personally think the J-10B looks pretty good, better than the J-10A.
From a side angle from the front it's a bit "ew", but every other angle is pretty good.
I like how there are different bumps coming out from places, (IRST, tailfin), makes it look more "modified".
But you can't judge taste lol.
