New PLAN ten barreled CIWS unmasked.

A new PLAN CIWS recently unmasked on-board of the Varyag sporting a total of 10 tubes. Well, that is just not fast enough.........because it is not Up To Eleven.

The current in service model of Type 730 CIWS seven-barreled 30 mm Gatling CIWS with a maximum firing rate of 5800 rounds per minute.

Looks like a big system. Any info on the dimensions?

Keep up all the good work.

I hate chickens, because they are stupid and annoying. I would like to throw a few in front of that gun and pull the trigger....

Hehehehehe...

OK, all deviant jokes aside, this gun looks like it packs significant upgraded firepower from its predecessor. Such high firing rate would probably make a land version of this unfeasible.
