Second Chinese T-AGOS ocean surveillance ship.

Spotted under construction at Guangzhou’s Huangpu Shipyard. The first Chinese T-AGOS ship (991) is in service with the surveillance squadron of the North Sea Fleet (991, 992 and 993). Since Huangpu Shipyard is handling the construction for the second hull, it is likely that the South Sea Fleet will play host this time.

Together with the USNS Impeccable, it too, manned by “civilian” personnel.

991, 992 and 993
