Stupid PRC PR of the day: The march of the Central Committee
It is well known that the Chinese government has an image problem and this type of impersonable march does not help. How could the old-hundred-names supports this type of martial display? Please, learn to kiss babies and the best thing is....you can still steal their lollipops afterward.

the Chinese leadership needs to learn today's politic skills such as giving fancy speeches, social media networking and milking the media and public airways. The old faceless march of yesteryear will not win over supports of the 20 something.
The question they need to ask -- do they want to be feared or loved? Clearly, they are still going down the "feared" route.

I could flip the question around and express my disgust at the personality based politics I have to sit through here in the west. I cannot remember the last political candidate that clearly setforth what he/she exactly would do once in office. Rather all coverage of politics revolves into "do I think he/she is a person I like"

I think todays "political skills" saw in the West is the last thing China should learn. It is a one of the main causes of the current Western demise. It is the epitome of style over substance. Seriously.
