Two days ago, a PC3 Orion maritime surveillance aircraft of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, 2nd Fleet Air Wing, spotted a task force of 26 Russian naval vessels sailing through the Soya Strait.
Not sure why they are bringing Landing Ships this far out in the Pacific, but one thing is for current, they are NOT pulling a 1973 Egyptian military exercise. Come to think about it -- it is international water, there is really no reason to get excited.
