The news is repeated by the CCTV, make you wonder how the FSA got their hands on  one of those?   from a hidden third-world black market or something more "secretive"?

Chinese Mistral?

Judging from this recent CCTV clip, the China Air Force is adopting the China Army's standard FN-6 MANPAD for its own point-defense needs.

Sharing is a common platform across different service arms  might not be a bad idea.
