China Navy "PLAN" Orbat Update: 1st Destroyer Flotilla, Northern Threater Command Navy
The 1st Destroyer Flotilla was commissioned in July 22nd, 1954 as home to the four Gnevny-class destroyers imported from the Soviet Union. It was also home to PLAN's first Luda class DDG, the Jinan in Dec 1972, and pair of Type 052 Luhu-class in 1994.
When the first pair of Type055DDG CG (101 and 102) enter service, they will be calling 1st Destroyer Flotilla home as well. It is quite an honor to hold for this outfit.
