PLAN Ship Of The Day: DDG166 v2

In 2019, the Luda class Type 051G2 class DDG166 Zhuhai was decommissioned and is now a museum ship in Chongqing.    The Type 052D class's 23rd haul now has the pennant number 166 as well. It will be interesting to see if DDG166 v2 will have the same name of Zhuhai

PLAN decommission of the day: Luda Type 051G2 class DDG166 Zhuhai

DDG 166 Zhuhai was commissioned at the end of 1991 and will be soon decommissioned. Just think, at a time she was considered to be the most powerful surface combatant as measured by her SSM armament.  Of course, that was the early 1990s where Cheers was leading the sitcom chart
