China Army's New Portable Infantry Artillery
LG5 40mm "sniper" grenade launcher is now widely adopted by Chinese troops stationed in Tibet for for obvious reasons: it has a maximum range of 2,000 m with integrated rangefinder, thermal imaging sight - most importantly - it is single-troop portable. All those qualities help making it an ideal mountain warfare weapon where fire support is hard to come by.

Man, how much weight would those poor soldiers be carrying? On the high mountains of Tibet at that. I expect those "sniper" grenade launchers to weight at least like a 50.cal sniper rifle unloaded. Not to mention the Ammunition needed... *shudder*
I see your point. That thing weights in 50lb, not including ammo. At the same time, a M48 76mm mountain gun 1,500 lbs...
