Extending serviceability of the old Type66 towed 152mm howitzer
By incorporating fin-stabilized, laser-guided round together with UAV as laser target designation to enable precision strike missions. This is one way to make Type66 useful in today's modern battlefield.
Where cost allows, this is becoming common for the use of towed artillery's. It's believed something similar was used by Azerbaijan in their recent conflict. The only drawback is the cost per round, but it sure improves the accuracy of the towed guns.
