In addition to the PHL 03 300MM MRL, this CCTV report also featured the Type 704 Counter- Battery Artillery Radar. The Type704 was developed from the American An/TPQ-37 the PLA imported in the late 1980s.

Together with PHL 03, the Type704 was also exported to Pakistan (here). It is also interesting to note that the India Army imported 12 copies of the American AN/TPQ-37 in 2002 as one of the lessons learned from the Kargil war of 1999. Chances are, those two systems might try to locate each if another conflict breaks out.
