PLA UAV on the prowl

The most interesting aspect of the recent Sharp Sword 2013 fire demo is the display of a A2G PGM firing CH-3 combat UAV in PLA service.   I guess all those "trade-show" UAVs are not just for shows anymore.

Fast forward to 1:36  (I know, I know, this entire PR video is a bit too much 20th century-ish)

The UAS at 2.21 is not a CH-3. The forward canard is completely missing.

Gee I wonder where this UAV design came from?

It's nice to see the Chinese appreciate the genius of Burt Rutan!
