Of course almost all the art works commissioned by the PLA's Political Deportment are nothing short of cheesy propaganda. That said, some of them are actually quite good -- take the following set of photorealistic oil paintings by the 29-year old Zhou Mo depicting the history of the PLA and the PLAAF for example. Not high art per se, but definitely worthy of a spot in a PLA flag officer's back-wall somewhere. I like'em.
She might be sporting a PLAAF uniform, but she is actually a member of the A&E Civilian Corps.
